Fury/Wilder fight

https://youtu.be/kXiKGWawZtc

Hope Wilder doesn’t want a rematch. Probably will to get the belt back but he’s been beat twice now. Bring on Fury/Joshua 👊

I don't even want to see that fight. Joshua would get murdered. I'd much prefer to see a rematch with Wilder. I think it would be an outstanding fight. In both fights Wilder has got his tactics woefully wrong. He kept standing off Fury, he needs to use his speed to his advantage and not stand off Fury.

The next fight will be a classic in my opinion with Wilder's camp reexamining what went wrong and what he needs to do to put it right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wilder needs a new team behind him if he wants to beat Fury. Their tactics in both fights were awful and his advice in the corner did nothing to help him. It's as if they just tell him to go out and wait for his one chance to land that right hand.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think it matters what advice Wilder gets, he's too limited a fighter who only has one trick up his sleeve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree that he'd probably never beat Fury unless he got lucky, especially on that showing. But even in fights like Ortiz he's just giving up rounds waiting for one shot. A better coach could at least have him set it up better or throw a few basic combos to open guys up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He may as well stick to what he's been doing, as it seems to have worked well for everyone else he's faced including Ortiz. He'll just have to accept that he's never going to be as good as Fury and can only hope to get lucky like you say. Despite all that and Fury's domination, you can still tell by those bruises that Fury took some power to the head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably too late in Wilder's career for him to change significantly, I just think with all his physical attributes and power he's got more in his locker than just waiting for one shot. He's obviously never going to be a great technician but with better coaching/discipline he could add a bit more variety that would make him more dangerous against guys that can nullify the right hand for long spells in a fight.

AJ is a better technical boxer than Wilder, but is still levels below Fury. I think Fury probably beats AJ with a similar gameplan as this fight with Wilder because they are both poor inside fighters. Fury's great on the inside and outside, that ability and knowledge to adapt is levels above what AJ can do physically to bridge the gap in skill level, imo.

its this simple

Wilder has no option as he's ran that long from what could have been an easy undisputed title by beating AJ (clearly the aj debacle last year showed wilder could have done that too)

either Wilder gets a rematch v fury and catches the guy out or he has to wait for outcome of aj v fury hoping its fury for the thrid match.

If AJ beats fury then AJ won't fight wilder imo, why should he?

however imo what we will see is the following this year:

AJ v manditory

Fury v wilder rematch

the clash between the two brits has to be the killer career making cash day for both. the only way to do this is really is for fury to put wilder down again.

AJ has stained his career with ortiz. the yanks won't pay for that undisputed match unless fury drives the show.

Fury was lucky with the punch which landed on Wilder his equilibrium and if you ever have boxed you would know when you hit on the temple ear it is game over. In the first fight Fury fought behind his jab but Steward changed his tactics in being on the front foot and aggressive in this fight.

AJ is a better boxer technically than Wilder and has the same power punch as him.
The Fury vs AJ fight is 50/50 for me. Those guys hit hard and if one of them can land one punch in the right area then it is goodbye and sleep well.

Why is it lucky as opposed to a good, well timed punch? He was comfortably winning before that anyway.

If that's the case Wilder was equally as lucky in the first fight because he did the same to Fury. Illegal shot to the back of the head, discombobulates him, he cannot recover, knocks him out but he gets back up again.

Any heavyweight can knock out another heavyweight. It's not luck, they're big blokes who can hit as hard as hell.

Fury was unlucky that he was robbed in the first fight. I'm pleased for him that he was able to put the record straight so emphatically this time.

Absolutely, he deserves all the plaudits and is the man I beat in my opinion. AJ will have fight on his hands that's for sure.

Joshua is an athlete who is a decent boxer. Fury is a great boxer.

Only one winner, AJ will swerve as long as he can.
