exactly - i thought that warm weather break would have given time for a decent amount of fitness training

Team were knackered after 70 mins or so. Unfortunately this might be what to expect as we continue to use the first team in the Europa.

Have to say that Leno made up for his mistake for their second goal

City match postponed so we now have almost 2 weeks' break from league action, only Portsmouth to worry about next Monday so we shd be ready for West Ham.

3 games in 7 days, have you ever tried? It's tough and even tougher at the intensity they play at.

We obviously tired after 70 minutes but up to that we played well for the most part. For a club who are supposed to be on a good run I thought Everton were dire. They got better when Gomes came on but again probably more down to tiredness on our part.

and we DO rely on quite a few young players - who havent yet developed the stamina needed for week in - week out play of the PL
