SG has gained something but he's not experienced. He's not cut out for the Scottish game. He doesn't know where to begin with the blood and snorters that is our league. When do you move on? EL success and an almost challenge can't be enough to keep the job. Lost his dressing room. And the terraces. Time to go, I'd say. Won't be on anyone's short list after 2 years in Scotland with no silverware.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I actually disagree. I think there will be plenty of clubs in the championship and maybe even the bottom half of the epl interested in SG.

Rangers will always be starting second favourites to Celtic domestically as long as they have £40m in the bank.

People in the game understand the difficulty of that challenge.

He has done remarkably well in Europe and that cannot be over looked.

There will definitely be teams more than willing to take a punt on him IMO
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why on earth would any club of a decent standard take a gamble on Gerrard? And what a massive gamble it would be.

He’s won nothing and achieved nothing and in truth must now be considered an abject disappointment. All
that money and support for what?

Nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I imagine a team the stature of a Sheffield Wednesday or Huddersfield or that who have no ambition would take him.

Instant worldwide recognition for whatever his wages are.

He should never get the Liverpool job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd think they do have ambition. Every club does and they will always seek to improve. Gerrard is a massive name; but that's it.

He'll be far too expensive for them as well for the gamble that he would undoubtedly be.

I think that Stevie G has gained a lot of managerial experience from this assignment. I think that he would gladly take an offer next season from a lower English PL team or a talented English Championship team next season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What lower league EPL or talented Championship teams take on a complete failure of a Scottish team manager?

Because of his name again?

Delusion right there.
