Celtic 3 v 1 Kilmarnock

To put this seasons gap into some context.

This time last year we were just 8 points clear of Rangers and, Rangers have undoubtedly improved, I believe they are 7 points better off at this stage than they were last season.

Credit then has to go to Neil Lennon and the whole squad who have played a part as we are now within touching distance of securing 9 in a row. 10 games left for Celtic, 11 for Rangers and the gap is 12 points plus 20 goals. As it stands there is a chance to win it in the final game before the split which is away to Hibernian in April, if we win all of the games below and Rangers also lose in another game outside of the OF game then it can be wrapped up on that day, depending on how their game in hand goes.

Livingston (away)
St Mirren (home)
Rangers (away)
St Johnstone (home)

Yesterday was a bit of a weird day as at 3.05pm Rangers, as it stood, were 7 points behind having gone 2-1 up to St Johnstone and Killie leading us 1-0, the penalty shouldn’t have been given as it was offside but then Jozo got himself in a bit of a mess.

That however didn’t last long and Stevie May popped up with an equaliser in the 80th minute and truth be told Rangers never looked like scoring after that. There’s real problems there btw, Morelos and Kent both look absolutely awful since the return in January and at the back it’s real Efe Ambrose stuff.

Once the Rangers game finished our crowd felt a chance to go 12 clear and so did the players, we played very well again and created numerous chances and Ajer stepped up with another important goal. That was quickly followed by Eddy getting his 26th of the season, not the most pleasing on the eye it must be said.

2nd half began and it was game over quickly due to Alan Power being sent off, thought it was really harsh but he got away with it at Rugby Park so get it up him.

Leigh Griffiths added a 3rd and we got a chance to rest a few players with 20 minutes to go.

I don’t think anyone out there still believes there’s a title race on, if anything we should look to try win it by 20+ points with the position we’re in. It also allows us the chance to ensure players are fit for Europe and the Scottish cup which is what this week is all about.

Buzzing for Thursday should be a belting atmosphere and I’d expect us to go through which is then dare to dream time in the last 16.

Scottish cup on Sunday, tough game but hopefully we continue our good record up there.

seems like great value for 7 million

At least with one assist you could claim it's £7m an assist..

1 goal every 3 games in the league.

4 assists this season.

The criticism is being overplayed, mainly by Tims.

I accept he's not lived up to the price tag yet but he's a hell of a lot better than most of the players we have.

Signed for £7m off the back of one game that he should have had a red card in for assaulting a legend of the Scottish game.

He was largely p!sh last season too, but that game erased those memeories, he is no better than Jordan Jones and I mean that with complete honesty

Harvey Weinstein, the fallen titan of Hollywood whose sexual abuse of aspiring young female actors sparked the #MeToo movement, has finally been brought to justice after a New York jury found him guilty.

The movie mogul’s epic fall from grace is now complete, toppled from the pinnacle of independent cinema where he helmed films such as Pulp Fiction and Shakespeare in Love, amassing a total of 81 Oscars. The glamorous Manhattan and Los Angeles lifestyle he once enjoyed will soon be replaced by getting rumped right up the erse aff big Delroy everynight in New York state prison cell.

I don’t think any Tims are criticising him-most seem to be laughing at him.

There’s plenty of players (and we have quite a few) that haven’t given value for money. At £7 million though, that’s a hefty dunt to take.
