Great result that

Great to see City restore some pedigree to an otherwise underwhelming outing for domestic clubs in Europeans glitziest competition so far this year

Turned the ball over so well tonight. Few people were losing their minds where I watched it but the way we won the ball back goals were always on the cards

Kev, absolutely fantastic. Not sure why he hasn’t always taken penalties bar injury spells

Not the best Real team ever, but still takes something to go to Madrid and overturn a 1-0 deficit. Well played City

And Isco was coming in centrally, which is why Mendy was able to get forward more - he didn't have any where near as much to deal with.

Both worry me tbh, I'd still rather have Walker going wide and forwarded and an inverted fullback on Mendys side though, particularly after Laporte went off.

De Bruyne was more about the positioning - he let his man go a few times.

Feels wrong to bbe that critical about any of them though, they were asked to play a rigid formation and style until the goal went in.

Thought Jesus was excellent and really grew into the game. His all round display had a bit of everything and although he's not as clinical as Aguero (yet possibly) technically he was VERY good at times.

The City I enjoy watching most is the one after they went a goal down. A bit of aggression suits them imo.

One of the most massively impressive performances I have ever seen from you Berties.

Massive win. Well done.

Hope you go on and win it now rather than them dippers again. Cant see anybody else stopping them.

Good result for sure. 2 away goals is huge.

Mendy just seems like a liability to me, surely Pep must be thinking about replacing him in the summer?

Fascinating to see the coming of age for Jesus last night.

Big call from Pep, that.

Yeah. The guy has made many big calls in his career. Binning Ibra, Eto, Deco, Ronaldinho. Not many managers can do that.

A lot of focus will go on Real Madrid’s poor performance but City’s formation in the first half helped them to stay in the game

I haven't had a chance to watch the highlights, but congrats from your neighbors - it's a fantastic result and I hope you get your CL trophy. Just don't tell anyone on our board I say so

Great win for City, especially since Real were starting to slow the game down with about 20 minutes to go. Looked like they were planning on cruising to a victory.

Football/Soccer games often have a sense of humor.
