We would’ve had the most impactful (goals and assists) midfielder in Europe in Bruno and the most impactful midfielder in the top leagues in Europe in Pogba the previous year.

Given how uninventive we’ve been if we had Bruno and Pogba fit I don’t think we’d have had anywhere near the same issues with goals

Lingard ????

Good to watch at times tonight - Bruno really adds some verve. Fred and McTominay should form a good base for him to go ahead of the ball as he likes to do. Ighalo was lively and the defence fairly solid.

Tahith Chongard does look a bit lost though and could really use a goal. Nearly had one.

Much better these last few weeks, some semblance of style coming through now

Bruno the difference. We need to build the team around him.

Bruno looks a good addition but getting him in the summer was unlikely due to Sporting wanting a boatload of cash for him

No one expected Pogba to be out all season either

But crap happens and Bruno looks like a perfect tonic right now

Now we just need to work out how we play 10 men for the majority, week in week out.
