Was going to say this.

They had an advantage of 30 mins to get an away goal however arsenal had an extra 30 mins playing at home with their crowd which is a big advantage.

So you want the rule changed that lasted more than 70 years to suit your team. Well I see it that Arsenal had more advantage because of playing 30 more minutes at home.

Hasnt though.

I would say the away goal is a bigger advantage than home advantage.

Accept defeat and stop whinging about the rule which was known to both teams. This is not something new. They deserved it over the two games as they were the better team.

No offence mate but that imo is absolute nonsense. I’d far rather have 30 mins with an away goal counting as double than a perceived, and that’s all it is, home advantage, especially when the game has got to that stage, & the home crowd are going to be $hitting it/deflated etc
Not every ground has the “Anfield effect’’. I’m sure the super galactico hyper champions will demonstrate that though in the next leg vs Atletico won’t they?

Did it really change how either team played?
