Last night was one of the worst Arsenal performances in a long time. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. No urgency to show the fans that we wanted to win the tie. Also, when they scored Arteta could have put the subs early on for the 2nd because we needed legs.
It felt like Olympicos was playing at home. They're controlling the match as they wanted until they conceded. Credit to them for being positive after conceding as they pushed to knock Arsenal out by pressing us and they got their goal.
However, our biggest problem lie in we can't press effectively. We're simply waiting our opponent to lose the ball and that is not good enough if we want to win games. I saw this against Olympicos and Everton. The reality is our players are out of their depth because they're simply not good enough.
Who are the main culprits?
Lacazette
Pepe
Ozil
Xhaka
Ceballos
If you have five players in your team which cannot press effectively. Then, you have a big problem. Arteta will have to make a decision on selling some of them in the summer. Ceballos will probably go back to Real Madrid because he is not suited to the Premier League. We need to sell Lacazette and Ozil this summer. Both must be replaced.
I will take Grealish and M. Dembele. I would rather see Aubameyang leave for free 2021 than sell him this summer.
We need to improve our first team first if we want to compete better.
Grealish and Dembele would improve our first team next season. We also need to add T. Partey of Ath. Madrid for our defence.

We could fall behind even further if our owner doesn't invest. Our recruitment have been atrocious for the last five years. Man Utd has the money to go back where they were, but Arsenal owner is fleecing out our fans.

He is sluggish after his injury. So I would say you mustn't make a rash decision until he becomes a fully fit. Let's wait if he can get back to his best.

You are looking for culprits? Why is Leno not on that list. Why isnt Bellerin not on that list?
Bellerin has been atrocious for a while now. If he isnt ready to play on that required level you need to give him playing time in the U23. It makes absolute no sense to let him continue.

Leno saved us so many times. So our players shouldn't put him under pressure as he isn't good at with his feet, but we have number of players in our team who are choosing the easiest option by passing to the keeper instead of seeking forward passes or using their body to get fouled. Bellerin is a bit rusty since he came back from injury. We can judge him after 5/7 games. So let's wait and see. AMN was playing tonight u23. So he will probably start against Portsmouth in the FA Cup. I also rate him. Both will compete for the right back position.

I would take him over Maddison. I saw some Villa games and he is always the main player plus he can play number of positions on the wing, no.10, and behind the striker. Arsenal need someone like him, but I doubt Arsenal owner will pay for whatever price Villa says as he is so greedy with money and that is why we are falling behind than top six this season.
