Positive changes...

If we are to avoid putting pressure on three big, consecutive games at the end of the season to aid CL football, there is a 7 game run against mid table/lower half teams to get things back on track.

What is it that we were doing in that 8 game winning streak that we need to reignite?
What changes need to be made?

I suggest now we have a run of winnable games we go on the offensive.

4-1-4-1 and Tielemans playing a free role to find the pockets. Fuchs in for Chilwell, Perez dropped for Justin with Pereira pushing on.

That’s some change for you!

He’s too pig headed mate. He’s basically a more man management friendly version of Puel. He’ll play the same way with the same personnel against Villa who will put 10 men behind the ball while we pass it around sideways. Easy 3 points for them

Didn’t earlier in the season he mix it up against Villa and play 4 D 2 with Vardy and Nacho up front? I think the possession play remains but he does mix up his formation.

That was during a period of rotation to be fair - if you want a more accurate analysis of our inflexible one dimensional approach against Villa - Check out the recent two legged league cup semi final

Any formation he plays results in the same style of play in any case. He can’t very it at all.

I think TB's right here. It's not about formations, it's about attitude. The players have got to stop waiting for something to happen and make it happen by gambling and forcing mistakes.

And they need to be encouraged to try something different because Villa will simply set up with 10 men behind the ball rendering Rodgers possession tactics as useless as Puels

That’s partly what I mean by gambling. Playing riskier passes and seeing opposition attacks as an opportunity to counter rather than fend off and reset.

Management to Watch Watford

Norwich, Villa and Watford part of the easier run.

Having watched Watford all we need to do is make space and pass to a guy in the same coloured shirt, something we haven't done in a while.

I remember when we used to slag Nigel off for being a tactical ass
