Defensive woes...

74% of Tottenham's goals conceded in all competitions under José Mourinho, have been from either individual errors or from set pieces.

Who's really to blame here?

José?
The ageing and rapid decline of Toby and Jan?
The board/Levy's reluctance to bring in new signings?
No shield from midfield?

To be fair, José tried Tanganga and Sanchez to help deal with Wolve's pace - Jan and Toby would have been roasted. Unfortunately, more mistakes and no protection in midfield ultimately lost us the game.

Davies is so bang average it's unreal.

Some serious money needs to be spent in the summer.

We need a facking DM. We have needed one since Dembele left and Wanyama morphed into a glass human. It’s so painfully obvious. One of the few things I have given levy a rocket for us allowing that to happen without getting us a proper DM replacement. Poch can take stick for it too. Facking ridiculous. How was that not addressed in January. Mourinho can get a rocket for it too. Some absolute caaants at spurs cannot see the obvious. Teams saunter through us and no one has worked out that we need a DM ?!?!?!

As for the defence, change all of them plus the keeper.

It's just amazing how quickly our once reliable and quality players have declined.

Jan, Toby, Dier, Wanyama and Alli - Once dependable and the spine of our team. They're all sheet now.

Winks, Davies, Aurier, Gazza - All bang average

Aurier - Ok going forward, but still can't get a facking cross in.

Son and Kane injured.

N'Dombele may as well not exist.

We're a mess. An absolute mess.

Literally not a single player I wouldn’t mind selling for the right money

Personally ... I really now think it's not a Poch/Maureen issue. It's a player problem. We've had an issue with players desire to perform as a collective for many many years....dating back to early 90's. We also seem to have a squad full of weak minded players who always come out with the same poor excuses.... i.e. "we must try better", " We must stop making basic mistakes" ....etc ... and it never changes...... the players always let us down.

Spurs just need a few leaders in the team that are vocal and can keep things together. A comanding cb and a top tier dmf cost serious money though

Honestly if I hear the usual “ we need to learn from our mistakes and do better “ tripe from Kane and Lloris like we hear twice a year every year then I think I will put my fist thru the tv.

I don’t exactly expect them to say anything else but would rather they just button it and walk the walk rather than talk the talk. If football was about talking then we would be winning the treble season in season out.

Agree.

New manager/head coach.
New coaching staff

Same issues.

Poch "We need to be stronger"
José "We need to learn from our mistakes"

Sell everyone, start fresh. FIFA style

you guys are all pissing in the wind.
The problem with this club starts at the top.
And that is the ownership, ENIC.
Get rid of those buggas and let an owner with money and ambition take over, and ALL things will change.
Until that happens ...keep on pissing!

"an owner with money"

Pathetic. Wishing for a sugar daddy!

Our revenues could soon be larger than Chelsea & Arsenal's (in excess of 500m Euros), with our Matchday grown by E40m and Commercial revenues having by increased E70m between 16/17 and 18/19 seasons. The former will probably rise another E30m for the first full season at new WHL.

This is growth off the back of the new stadium/wembley and new sponsorship/other commercial, not from the increased TV money which everyone benefits from. It is "extra revenue streams" that pushes closer towards the richer clubs and will help us compete more.

If our owners do not spend this new found wealth then so be it, protest, pray for owners who do. But if they simply spend what we earn then how can this be criticised?
