We don’t create enough

Bruno has come in and has been very good. However it wonโ€™t be long before teams double up on him. We are relying on individual brilliance too much and we havenโ€™t really improved as a side still. Ole tinkers too much as that formation against Everton was not good and had the forwards confused.

However onto my main point. We need a fit pogba back and hopefully we can use him whilst he uses us to get us into the top 4. Him and Bruno will make us far more dynamic and less predictable, as we still lack creativity and relying on one player to do most of the creating is not good enough. How Ole will shape the midfield will be interesting. Pogba will return to the starting line up soon. I think we will see a Bruno, pogba mctominay midfield soon.

Right now it’s down to individual brilliance

------------------------------------

This idea seems very popular today. There has been some truth in this over the course of the season but I think it's a bit overcooked. For instance, the first half against Everton was a really good team performance. Fernandes was the key player but not through 'moments of individual brilliance' - we repeatedly opened them up as a team. That's not to argue that everything is excellent, just the whole running around without a plan hoping for something to happen narrative is pretty exaggerated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just feel that in the space of a few weeks we’ve become horrifically reliant on Fernandes - he’s a breath of fresh air signing but i just get the feeling that as the season goes on he’s going to be the player we give the ball to and hope that he pulls something out of the bag when games are tight. Which isn’t the worst thing in the world. It just doesn’t imo necessarily make the games that much more entertaining. If anything i can see players crowding him and soon our best weapon may be blunted

I do hope I’m wrong however.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that'll depend on Pogba returning. If they play in the same team it will give the opposition more to worry about.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am be very curious to see how they play together. Even if it likely is until May
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me too. And with those two, Martial and Greenwood in the team, we have more than one player capable of individual brilliance
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Let’s see if it can all gel together

Hopefully. Pogba, McT and Bruno could be a really strong midfield.

And we will have Rashy back

Don’t think we’ll get the chance to see that midfield gel together, sadly.

Probably not for long. But hopefully a few times before the season is out.

Hopefully, shame Rashford won’t be there to benefit. He’d love having both of those feeding him through balls.

Hi Elvis, you crazy cult member

Firstly, I didn’t say that Jose guaranteed us the PL title. I said that he and Pep would be competing for it - and Jose couldn’t quite do what I hoped he would. And I’m sure you expect a Manchester United manager to do more than just rebuild a squad and give it to the next guy to do a decent job? Instead of rebuilding the squad he’s weakened the squad and will leave plenty of question marks for the next guy

And as for Dybala turning us down? It’s true and here’s the silver bullet...

“It wasn’t an easy summer,” he told Corriere della Sera. “Hearing your name linked to every team and every place, where you don’t want to go, isn’t a nice thing.
“But this is football, even if before the transfer window opened I said: ‘I want to stay here’. I think it was more important to let [my performances on] the pitch do the talking, even if until the last day no one knew what would happen.“

Hi Robb. Where you been? Are you is Aus? You definitely said Jose guaranteed the title. If I could find which account you said it on I'd prove it!

Shocked that Dybala said he wanted to stay after staying. Maybe he's had some media guidance from Robbie Keane?

It was more entertaining than under LVG. More goals, more wins and less sideways rubbish

As for expectations, that’s exactly what they were. I expected more, I didn’t get quite as much as I wanted and I wasn’t even the slightest bit sad that he left. Something I’m sure you could learn about letting go of your old hero.

Expectations and predictions were pretty much the same in your case.

You should have been sad he wasnt sacked 6 months before he was

6 months before many here predicted

However he did live up to other predictions that he would leave the club in a worse mess than when he found it

As for letting go of my "old hero"

Keano is badly missed but great careers sadly have to finish. He is one of many player who gave his all to the club.
