I wonder how many ........

Of our current crop of players, playing and training under the management of MB, will learn and bring those lessons into coaching in years to come?

Will we see the likes of Dallas, Cooper and any others step up from playing to management in years to come?

Will the methods that have improved many (all) of them, be used to coach another generation?

Agree on Pablo being a coach in waiting. I reckon Ayling might end up there too. Berra's just magical no matter what he chooses to do. As much as I rag on Bamford,
would not be surprised if he also finds his way into coaching. That massive brain and intelligence of his could serve him well. If that's ultimately what he chooses. That or a TV pundit. Smart bloke.

Pablo would make a good manager / coach / assistant imo. Knowledge and experience of international football including tournaments plus domestic experience in the top flight and second tier here.

Would Ferguson style management work today? Review? Shankly?

Forshaw.

To me, looks nailed on for a career (possibly even successful) in coaching / management.

Fergie era wasn’t long ago.

He still be a great manager because

1 he could pick a player

2 he knew when to sell a player

3 knew how to handle players.

I mean Eric ran in and fly kicked a fan. Didn’t stop fergie flying over to France begging him not to quit

The fan should have gone over and given him a good kicking!..

Mind, if he had a mouth like Eric claims, he more than likely wouldn't have had the balls to even try!..

Er, I hope when you say Eric you don't mean any of ours!..

It’s really hard to tell a manager or coach with players..

Because coaching is about delivering your message on the way you want to play.. personalities / patience / man management is just as important as know how.

I honestly struggle to see how Bielsa is so effective because he’s distant from the players.. Christiano called him ‘awkward’ I think.

That’s why the best managers aren’t usually the good players.
