Focus turned to CL and their confidence took a massive hit in Madrid.
Similar to us in 04, hit a rough patch at the wrong time, trying to juggle 3 competitions and getting it wrong in all of them. Luckily our league dip only lasted 45 minutes, ironically against Liverpool. By then the damage was done in the FA Cup and CL though.

Would be interesting to know if Klopp did actually change anything he was doing/going to do, as a result of the letter. Not deliberately but more indirectly like, ended up taking 'one more look' at a strategy. Simply because the fuss around the letter and his response, made him focus more on not losing, subconsciously. And though still intent on winning, change something he wouldn't have. Good thing there is if he did, he's got enough of a sense of humour to tell us all, once they've won it in the end anyway. Spinning it as a great tale of how some kid nearly robbed em of the title.

As someone said early on every fan would love to be in our position know, we will get better and have the last laugh 😆 I just hope we win the league at Anfield maybe invite the little boy to visit the new champions.

Doesn't really matter if you get better later on if you've already crashed out of all the cup competitions. Atletico game is now pretty huge

The leagues done, it will be an incredibly boring last couple of months for you.

After making two CL finals back to back, and winning one, whilst not winning the league in 30 years I'm sure they will cope if they just win the PL this year 😅

Yeah they'll be fine, all I'm saying is it doesn't matter if they come back stronger. If they lose to Atletico then there'll be nothing to play for, barely any point watching the games if you're a fan.
