Before today’s PL games, no handshakes...

...based on medical advice to curb the potential spread of coronavirus.

After the games, handshakes and hugs drenched in sweat

Junior league footballer in NI tested positive tonight... Went for a test after playing this afternoon ffs

There's been a darts night in one of the teams social club, some of the players from the game hit a nightclub before the news was released supposedly

Christ.

I cannot see how this thing is controlled in the UK like it has been in China.

If the symptoms for most people are going to be like a mild cold or flu... Most people will just think its a bit of a sniffle and carry on

I get the distinct impression that a lot of younger, healthier people have developed an attitude along these lines:

“Ah, it’s basically just like the flu. If I get it, which I probably won’t, I’ll have a week or two off work, and it isn’t killing anyone my age. So all of this just seems like a big overreaction really, and I’m not bothered by it.”

Which is utterly selfish, and if extrapolated across the general public, highly, highly dangerous.

Pretty much. Think people are scared but freedom comes at a cost some don’t want to pay
