what was in the end a decent point at Burnley, especially as most of our fan base, were convinced Spurs were going to lose.
Awful first half, akin to our relegation team of the 1970s, bereft of ideas, poor in defence, and nothing going forward. Jose made decisive changes at the break, and the improved performance was there for all to see, and in the end a draw did not flatter Spurs.
Bottom line is once both Son and Kane were injured long term, then the season was pretty well done. Players just need to start playing for pride now, a few decent performances, and then regroup and go again next season, with new personnel, injured players back, the Jose can really put his mark on the team.
Midweek at Leipzig will be difficult, but it is only a one goal deficit, and who knows get an early goal from somewhere, and the pressure will heap right back on Leipzig. Obviously our defence is liable to come under a lot of pressure, and a clean sheet doesn`t seem possible right now. But hey ho, what will be will be.
Far too much doom and gloom on the board for my liking, there is moaning and there is moaning. A lot have had it in for Jose from the off, I have zero time for those supporters, everybody deserves a chance, no matter what supporters think of them.
Having said that though re Ndombele, I wouldn`t be surprised if that is the last time you see him in a Spurs shirt. Jose was clearly very, very unhappy with him, and rightly so. I suspect the rest of the dressing room were as well. I really don`t see a coming back for him now. Jose more or less said he was not going to be picked if he continued in his current mode.
So it is on to Leipzig now. COYS.

Smeggy, next season will be better I’m pretty certain. Been a horrendous season from start to finish. Leipzig will put us out of our misery Tuesday and we can plan for next season.

We all know how this goes don. Scramble around for some french midfielder with a week to go in the transfer window whilst key positions are missed because we wouldn’t pay that little bit extra to get it over the line. There is simply no way levy will give José what he needs over the summer.
My prediction?
Kane leaves in summer. We sign two average players. Spurs have terrible start. Everyone blames Jose. Levy fires him. Hires some young upcoming manager. Fails to back him. Return to start. Repeat. Pay £100 a ticket.
Meanwhile Poch wins title at new club.

Sandy , Ndombele is a complete disgrace mate. Blind supporters on here sticking up for him like he’s been good at club, he’s been absolutely awful with a terrible attitude in regards to his fitness to match. Complete dud of a signing. Lo celso on the other hand fantastic, but that’s not enough mate. Our signings haven’t been good enough mate and Mourinho needs a whole summer to sort his team, not Pochettino’s.

Why would I give a player a chance when he clearly looks like he doesn’t give a s***? If he’s not trying for the team, then I have no time for him. That Wolves video of him circulating on Twitter is pathetic and sums up his attitude completely. I’m willing to give players a chance when they show they want to play for the club I support.

Pochettino went public saying his input on transfers was pretty minimal. I'm sure he stated preferences about players he liked but only rarely did he get his first choice.

That is not what I said mate, I am prepared to give all our new signings time to turn things around. Indeed Lo Celso already has. But Ndombele after eight months shows absolutely nothing, so cannot in reality see him ever turning it around. How can he possibly turn it around, when he can barely play 30 minutes a match every couple of weeks?

To be fair, they played ok in the second half, once the format that was clearly wrong in the first half was changed.
We all agree this has been a poor season ( and a half ) for Spurs, but I continue to be amazed at the way the Media are spinning this situation, particularly compared with others, such as Utd.
Once again we have a so called sports Journalist ( Stone this time taking it in turns with McNulty ) writing a piece on today's BBC website painting all sorts of pictures of doom and gloom, with Spurs future clearly disintegrated, with no hope of future.
Yet, the fact is, following our worst season in probably 15 years, we are still only a couple of points behind most of the others. Yet you would not think so when your hear and read about favorites like Utd, Chelsea and even Arsenal, who as a today are actually behind spurs in the league.
I have no problem with Media slagging off, but would it be nice if they were even remotely consistent.
Oh and please Sky, stop banging on about Billy Gilmour. He is not a world beater after just one and a half games. Also please stop referring to Chelsea as "kids". Their front three today had a combined age of nearly 100 ffs.
