Best performance of the season

I think that was our best game that we’ve played under Ole this season. Over the 90 mins we were very dominant against a top side, we faltered a bit in the second half but City didn’t test De Gea much. We should’ve had a penalty as well.

That Sterling chance was probably the closest they came to scoring but thankfully he was slipping everywhere. Ole had got his tactics absolutely spot on again.

Mike Dean is an absolute waaanker as well. Huge well done to the lads, would be amazing to end the season like this now. Keep it up.

We were fantastic, I’m sure you can pick faults but let’s just appreciate a very good performance from a team who are gradually improving. Full credit to Ole, he deserves a lot of credit for today.

I'm confused by how well Matic is playing at the moment.

Playing for a new contract 😂

By all accounts it’s pretty much signed, sealed and delivered
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never been a Matic fan... But lately he's been excellent, outstanding today
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’ve always rated him but have to admit to having some doubts in recent seasons

He’s found form again. I’m sure we’ll all be cautious as to how long it will last but the idea of him getting a new contract a couple of months back would be a joke - now it’s a good idea

It could be down to the players around him... A bit more energy and movement allowing him to sit without being over run... Credit to him though, best he's played for us

Not even going to put it down to playing for an extension either... He'd have offers abroad

How are we playing lads

Matic could very well be similar to shaw

lost his place to a youngster who came in and did well then got his chance when mct got injured and has grasped it with both hands.

lesaux and Dixon were discussing during commentary about united missing Pogba and Rashford and the question was with the set up of 2 solid CMs and Bruno ahead, where does Pogba even fit into this united side

It’s also nice to not have to listen to the “Ole out” brigade banging on and on, this must be torture for them

Not at all. Us ‘Ole out’ folks only want him out because of football reasons - if the football is good and supporting United isn’t a chore then why would ‘we’ feel tortured?
