Both teams can't have the ball you spanner.

Totally agree. Pretty poor watch but who cares if you win it. Thought we started well but failure to grab the early goal killed us.
Ederson has been looking like having a game like this for a couple of months imo. Hope it’s a one off and he’s back on it Wednesday. Sterling still struggling at OT and Anfield

I can only imagine that the OP didn’t watch the game and is going by possession stats only.
It is a bit hard to accuse a team of parking the bus when they have more attempts at goal than you. It really shows a flaw in your own teams game.
