That's just the Spanish media stiring it up to placate the fans if their big teams fail to get to the finals again.

According to CAT Radio, UEFA is now considering the option of suspending both the Champions League and Europa League once the latest round of fixtures have been completed.

This makes no facking sense, why wait till end of next week to postpone the European competition matches?

If you want to stop the spread, then cancel it now, not in a week after you have played dozens more matches all over Europe

It has no added value to the competitions, other than raking a bit more cash for UEFA before you cancel both competitions.

I would assume they are thinking that if they eliminate another 8 sides in each then at least only 16 clubs are left impacted and they can manage that number as perhaps a tournament in the summer.

If only Valencia weren't so s***. If they knocked Atalanta out that would reduce the risk somewhat.

If the season isn't completed, the title stays with last season's winners who finished the whole season

No way will any of the football competitions finish across Europe this season. I am surprised our Government have been so slow in acting, and not shutting down sport across the board. Ridiculous.
