That was embarrassing and shows we are simply not good enough for this competition.
Thrashed by a team only formed 10 years ago. That says it all.
Should be the last CL game for several of these players for some considerable time.
Going forward:
1. Lloris needs to go. Mistake after mistake for some time now.
2. Aurier. There is a no real discussion here. Has no idea how to play the game.
3 Dier at best a 3rd choice squad player, but in all honesty, bite the bullet
and get ride.
4. Ndombele. Something seriously wrong here. Got to find a replacement
and try to get our money back somehow.
5. I know he has been at the helm for a short period, but I really don't think
Mourinho has what it takes. So probably a new, younger, more
progressive Manager is needed too.
From the rest would keep, Some as first choice - Kane, Son, Moura, Le Selso Ali and Toby. The rest squad players.
In terms of next season we need real quality in the areas of CB, RB, LB, DM and a Midfield grafter/leader, together with a Striker good enough to challenge Kane for a starting birth, but as a minimum a good sub to bring on.
That is some list, and won't of course be achieved next year.
The worry, of course, is that the only person who cannot see the mess this club is in is Levy, who will continue with what he sees as "business as usual" and we wil continue to fall further behind into next season.
The only thing that may change his view is seeing an half empty stadium from next season onward, and profits inevitably falling. Both of which will happen unless real action is taken.

Well, just look at the Spurs line-up and ask yourself why the score wasn't 0-6?
Dier is playing in Vertonghen's position. The back four had only one proven top player, Alderweireld.
The midfield had two very inferior players, Winks and Sessignon.
Alli has lost his talent and plays like he should go back to the MKDONs.
And the bench contained players like Skipp and Fagan-Wallcott who should be nowhere near a match of this status. NDombele never got on the pitch, and god knows Lo Celso needed help.
The scoring was left to Moura and Lamela, who need a lot more backup than they got.
This was a team that could lose to any Premier league side.
Of course they will lose to RBLeipzig.
Maybe the best thing that could happen for Spurs fans is that Tottenham gets relegated. Perhaps that would light a flame unders the asses of Lewis and Levy....nothing else seems to work.

I cannot believe supporters think Ndombele should be in the team. He has played his last game for Spurs. A total disgrace of a record signing.

Bergwijn could replace Lucas so it becomes less of a priority to get someone in there now. Same goes for Toby. Get someone good in and then you can replace Toby when the others are replaced. I don't know about your tm youth team, any gems there that can step up?

every single player should be available for sale. (Kane only to fund a rebuild if necessary), apart from Lo Celso, and possibly Son.
Tanganga and the other young ones just coming through can also be excused.
Everyone else should be available for sale and we should be listening to offers.
