The media has waxed lyrical about this Liverpool side for 3 years now and it's clear they are a good side and they play an easy on the eye brand of football, but where do they sit in the order of the great double and treble winning sides of the past?
Comparisons on Sky were made with the treble winning team of 1999. With Liverpool with no trophies this season as yet, albeit on course to win the Premier League (European super cup and World Club Cup don't count, they are just red carpet shindigs for UEFA and FIFA dignitaries) are Liverpool in the same ilk as your Blackburn's and Leicester City's title winning exploits?
That said, if this Coronavirus gathers any more pace, the whole domestic season could well be stricken from the history books! Here's a hoping!

This season the second and third placed teams are on similar points as those in United's treble winning season. But we've just been far better.

I am truly amazed that you guys are still trying to promote this being a strong division, the traditional clubs are in complete disarray and even Man City are iffy for the first time in a while.
You are seriously not trying to make a case that a punching above their weight Leicester and Sheffield Utd are any kind of comparison to a strong Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs, i mean c'mon for feck sake.

Over all these years no sides walked away with titles or amassed crazy points, all of a sudden its happening two seasons running. Clearly the league is on its knees so its hard to give too much credit in my opinion.
