Atlético deserved to go through, not enough credit to them for being put under immense pressure and coming out on top. They exposed our weaknesses and we have to go away and work on those during the summer.

But the trophy we really all want is pretty much in the bag. Very happy with that.

We managed fine last season challenging to the wire on both fronts. The pressure was on last season to the wire and we won our last 9 league games and took home the champions league so thats blown that theory right out the water.

Atletico deserved to go through, they took their chances, we fluffed multiple chances then our goalie gave them the shot in the arm they needed. They were out on their feet before that, absolutely gone.

We are a better team than them no doubt. But they thoroughly deserved to go through. Happens all the time in football.

We're 25 points clear, we're fine thanks. Exited the FA Cup that we weren't prioritising and were unlucky to go out to Atletico. Fancy a strong finish to the season.

100% spot on. Well done Athletico, no complaints, they scored the goals, we didn’t, crack on. I don’t know how well of how further they will progress, but they are a hard nut to crack. Having seen the teams play so far, my money is on Bayern Munich. I can’t see any other club coming near them.

So, no Istanbul this year. Never mind, we’ve already qualified some time ago for next season’s CL, so we go again. With City decidedly in the balance - I think they will be banned for next season at least - Leicester, Sheff Utd which would be great and one of Spurs Chelsea or even Wolves, again great, for the remaining slots.

I can’t see United making it. Shame, eh?

I'm not sure City will be banned next season unless it's a very quick appeal process. Plus coronavirus could potentially delay court hearings etc. so it wouldn't surprise me to see them allowed in it next season.

Being a back-up keeper is a very difficult assignment and there is no mercy when a mistake is made. Liverpool dominated the game but also made some awful shots and their passing was sloppy at times. Blaming the loss on Adrian is very naïve. Why did Klopp play him in this game? Could it be Klopp's overconfidence that this would be an easy win?
Plenty of blame to go around!
