Ole expects Pogba to be here next season

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he "expects" Paul Pogba to still be at the club next season.

The World Cup winner has been troubled by ankle injuries this term, with the last of the France player's eight appearances coming on 26 December.

The midfielder, 26, has also beenĀ been linkedwith a move away from Old Trafford by his agent Mino Raiola.

But when asked about his future, Solskjaer said: "Paul's our player. He has two years left on his contract."

Pogba, who has not started a game for United since the 1-1 Premier League draw against Arsenal on 30 September, is contracted to the club until the summer of 2021.

United also have the option of adding an additional year to his current contract.

"You can expect Paul to be here [next season], yeah," added Solskjaer.

Dunno what else he can say tbh.

Even if he is leaving it wouldn't make sense to say that now. We at least need to make it look like it'll take top dollar to prise him away.

Whichever way it goes, I just hope it's confirm quickly... If he is sold, get it down quick, if he is staying, get him signed to a new contract quick.

If there are going to be any bids it's been said ( by Raiola) they will come AFTER the Euros. Not much club can do about that.

I think the balls totally in pogbrush's court.
If no cl and he fancies a move his agent will get one, or united have a player who doesn't want to be there, which creates all sorts of problems.
He is under contract but if he behaves badly united have to sell or write the money off.

Would take this with a pinch of salt either way. Wouldn't expect him to say anything else.
