One wonders what Leeds cash flow is like and how dependent they are on revenue from at least the 2 home matches missed. They make substantial revenue from catering and match day sales, this will cut deep to many clubs including ours.

If they ended the season the way it now is, than they should reimburse all fans money lost for a season that hasn't been completed!..

I know what I've written is bull crap but people have spent money to see their teams get to where they have and spent a fortune on doing it!..

The season has to be completed, even if it means the next season starting later!..

Spot on! Delaying a season that hasn’t started is the sensible option.

But you don’t say it as an opinion Stoopo, you say it as if it’s some sort of fact.

The reality is they will do whatever is easiest and costs the least.

I do find it ironically funny though that Liverpool might lose our on the league through no fault of their own when all English clubs got kicked out of Europe through no fault of their own because of Liverpool in 85.

Germany :

If the Bundesliga is cancelled the proposal is.

No title awarded
Clubs currently in the European positions qualify for Europe
No relegation
Teams in the Promotion positions in Bundesliga 2. come up
Expanded Bundesliga next season and 5/6 teams relegated.

Not the worst idea for the German league, although they've only 18 in the top flight there and one cup competition so could accommodate a bigger top flight for one season, especially if they scrap the winter break as a one off. Doubt we could do it here though. Would mean 44 League matches, 2 cup competitions and European fixtures to schedule in, as well as a likely international tournament which we usually finish slightly earlier for.

It’s an extra six games per club. The EFL trophy is probably done with now anyway and it’s only for one season.

Wouldnt it be four games if two teams come up?

Think this would be a great idea personally.

An extra four or six games on top of what top flight teams are already claiming is far too heavy a schedule. It's a possibility though and there's going to need to be a few.
