Reality bites

Well, it finally happened, our league is suspended.

Kinnear is making an announcement Monday.

I really wonder what happens to Bielsa here as everyone says avoid contact with over 60s to protect them...

I genuinely hope that he doesn’t fall victim to this and I wonder if he’s thinking about getting back to his family for a it or if any of his coaching team are thinking this.

Also, we’ll see more and more travel restrictions come into play, do you want to be away from family and then fjnd you are not allowed to see them?

What happens if his wife falls I’ll back home?

You can scoff at this but a week ago you’d have scoffed at all football being suspended.

Club have to be considering how to handle Bielsa, it’s not easy for anyone to know exactly what to do.

This is clearly Orta.

Why didn’t the club hire scientists that kept this virus away from Elland road?

He should’ve foreseen this week employing a manager over the age of 60....shocking oversight

I know geldard.. totally shocking!

I think it’s worse because we could of had that sports phsicology coach join the club too, because we need him being top of the league and 7 points clear of 3rd place.

This is going to kill a lot of businesses. The owner of the Trafford centre and many other shopping centres in the UK Intu is heavily in debt to something like £5b . They are trying to raise capital to keep going this couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Yep, airlines will be amongst first to fail and a number of airlines urgently asking UK government for help.

You will see huge layoffs in that area.

I really doubt that football restarts early April so we're going to see football clubs going into admin too. Will be interesting to hear what Kinnear has to say on Monday.

It looks like Bielsa staying at moment, just hope that he is taking precautions too and public give him a bit of space at this time.

Worlds airlines now forecast to be bankrupt by end of a May.

Not sure how governments are going to be able to bail out every sector that is going to crash.

Will people living abroad want to get home before airlines go bust and be stuck where they might not have healthcare and away from their families?

Where will AR want to be? Or Orta, Bielsa, all of Bielsa’s coaches, Meslier, Pablo, Klich....it’s times like these you want to be with family, it’s really tough times for all.

My folks are abroad, coming home today. You can get back to your place of residence. Whether or not you will be held for a bit in quarantine is another thing.

Not sure its as simple as that. Cezch for example will not let you in the country if you fly from UK, Denmark will not allow any foreign nationals including Brits as just a couple of examples.

Argentina are about to ban all flights from Europe for 30 days.

Who knows where we are in 30 days, one thing you can be pretty sure of is that it will be even worse then than it is now.

They got a message from Jet2 today saying their flight is on as scheduled. But you're right, not the same everywhere and will change in a matter of time.

My point is really for the foreigners at our club who are now going to struggle to get home. If airlines go bust etc, they end up stuck here away from families.

They would be in lockdown either way, of here they will have the support they need, no doubt.

Do you think Argentinians here get nhs care or private?

Do you think private can cope with the 7 mill PHE estimate will need hospitalisation?
