Squad still working

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8111117/Leeds-squad-stunned-boss-Marcelo-Bielsa-decides-against-giving-players-extra-time-off.html

Not sure about this but I suppose if they are careful they will be tested regularly.

Squad stunned?

It’s the Mail is it could be exaggerated a little

They'd be having a ciggie , playing cards, unlimited cuppas and a read through his legendary dossiers!

When the going gets tough, MB doesn't give a hoot

Suspect he's working on the basis that the season maybe finished behind closed doors, maybe sooner than generally anticipated so a certain level of fitness needs to he maintained so not to get caught out.

Club Medical staff will be working every second to monitor this.

If I've learned one thing over the years it's that standing still and doing nothing achieves nothing especially when something is way out of your control.

Let MB do it his way - he hasn't let us down so far and I'm absolutely convinced the welfare of HIS players will be uppermost in his thoughts.

Unless someone at the club has it, why wouldn't they still be going into work?

The rest of us are all still at work, no different for footballers unless they have to self isolate.

Don is turning in his grave now.

With 3 weeks off minimum, you'd think Leeds would have an interclub friendly to keep the players at match sharpness. Its as close to a match as we'd get until April or May it seems.

Not going to be easy to keep players engaged when the resumption date is weeks away and uncertain.

great news mb is keeping them on their toes..............rubbish, players know what needs to be done, would you rather they have so much time on their hands with all that money to hand

Not sure how much periodisation Bielsa's training has, it seems full on all the time.

I would give players a short break, as in 3/4 days just to recharge physically, mentally and snore that they have all contingent plans in place so no stress at home.

Remember you have players and coaches away from home countries and families and there will be a stress there.

Then I would be continuing the training but also have to modify it as the lack of match days takes away the goal of the training and its very hard then to stay mentally focussed which in turn affects the physical input.
