One flu over the keepers net

New thread to keep us going in these dark times with no football going on to cheer us up. Still 10 games left for bolton to play in the 2019/20 season but when or even will those be played? Anything goes. As suggested jokes, maybe speculation about what will happen. Links or discussions of old games/seasons. Could even be transfer activity with most Bolton players falling out of contract on june 30th.

We need to bump some overseas name up the list.
Can you place bets on who will be the bookies favourite tomorrow ?

Campo the legend! Happy memories of the team that he was part of. I doubt we will ever have a team as worthy of gracing our pitch than in those days.

It's sad to think about how low we have sunk. However, we are still standing so we can't complain. Hopefully, FV can restore pride in the club in the fullness of time. I have faith in them to do the very best that is possible. You can't ask for more.

It's very quiet on this board today. Is everyone back at work or is it that there is nothing to say?

According to an MP we could be allowed fans in the stadium at the start of the season. Having a reasonably large stadium for our current fan base is obviously a bonus. Let's hope that we have enough paying fans to keep the club afloat. I'm even thinking about making a return myself. Probably not a season ticket as travelling to games isn't great, especially at night during the winter months.

My daughter has had an architect at her house to see what can be done to have an apartment built in her garden. If everything turns out OK, we could stay there overnight if need be. That would make a significant difference. She has room in her house but it isn't possible for us to stay there as the missus is allergic to her cats. We will see what happens.

The manager selection program keeps crashing Tobias's wonder computer apparently its the fault of the EFL for not saying what financial caps will be in place and what the figures are without those numbers according to IT all we can do with the computer is Turn it off and on again.

With regard to having fans in I read somewhere that 25% capacity was being touted about - which for us would be roughly 7,125 which for league 2 would be about right for what I'd expect us to attract anyway.

With regards to Lowe. Can't see him going back to league 2 for a third consecutive season after gaining promotion.

Slow news weekend so plenty of time to find something to do.
How about pondering which will come first the return of football to the unibol or the end of the Tour De France have an ice cream and think about it.

Hi Golden, We are all fine thanks. I hope that you and yours are all well.

We have decided that we won't go back to Spain until February next year. We will go back for a short holiday and cut back the gardens and clean up of the terraces etc. We will then come back to England until May when we will then go back to Spain for several months.

My daughter will be either having an apartment built or finding another house. She doesn't want to move because she has an acre of woodland which is part of her garden. However, if the right house comes on the market she will more than likely buy it.

If I was you I wouldn't worry about the wind and rain, that will abate soon. I would have thought that the Canary Islands would be fine at this time of year.

After a great May here, we have had quite a lot of wind and rain. This morning is sunny but you will know that you can never rely upon the weather in England. This will be our first summer in England since 2003 and I'm not that impressed at the moment. We will see how the rest of the summer pans out.

On footballing matters, it would appear that some applicants for the Managers'/Head coaches' job are doing due diligence and checking on the viability of FV to keep the club in the black and be able to keep the club afloat.

I suppose that's common sense, but I think most potential managers would need to know the answer to a few pertinent questions.
