STRONG LEADERSHIP

...is exactly what’s needed

In these unprecedented times, where’s there’s no blue print on how to deal with such a crisis, and we’re all just trying to steer out way as best we can through these extraordinary times...strong leadership is what’s needed, someone who isn’t afraid of making tough decisions based on the information given by the experts - well done Boris, you’re doing a sterling job

It's funny because to me he has been nothing short of worthless so far, literally being last in line around the world to make any big decision.

Well in some ways, I suppose it’s a bit like being a football supporter - it’s very easy to stand on the sidelines and criticise and point the finger of blame - because at the end of the day, our points of view are always right

I suppose, in such unprecedented times, where no-one really knows the source, the cause or the remedy to this virus, I’m just pleased to have someone making such huge, strong decisions for the best of the whole Country - I honestly don’t think he could any more than he’s already done so far, on the information he’s been getting daily from the experts giving him advice

But hey, showing gratitude and respect for someone in the most unenviable position, is bound to be wrong

I think his dawdling on each and every decision has been terrible. I see he is finally closing schools, about a week or two behind just about anyone else. Has he shut borders yet? Forcing closure of business?

Cinci - just out of interest mate, what information do you have that he doesn’t yet have which makes you think that what you’re saying is the best or the correct way to go at this moment in time?

Surely going on the experts information, all he can do is act accordingly?

I don’t see what makes any of us better informed than the information he’s being given on a daily basis?

Also, the decisions he made a week ago, were based on the information we all had at the time, he couldn’t make decisions on what might or would have transpired a week later

Making comments retrospectively, i find is usually a lot easier than dealing in the present

I hope Inky reads this. It'll make his day.

Presumably all governments are reacting to the information as it comes, but yet he reacts slower than the rest.

I don’t think that is factually correct - it’s just your observation - as stated above, so much easier to think you have all the right answers and actions in retrospect

I’d be really interested in knowing who and what your source is to all the facts you’ve gained on the situation....apart from what you’ve seen in the BBC?
