Transfer prices to plummet?

With some clubs facing financial difficulties and the global economy facing uncertainty will we see players values drop? A player is worth what another club will pay for them. Sancho who was valued over £100 million now only worth £50 million? Similarly Utd might struggle to recoup Pogba transfer fee if they decide to sell him.

This will 100% happen.
The transfer fee will drop because the economy of the world is about to go tiiits up.

Actually football is u inquest insofar as an asset is only worth what someone is willing to SELL it for. If United will only pay £50m for Sancho then Dortmund will enjoy another few years out of him.

Unless TV deals, sponsorship, prize money is going down then why would it? The demand for football will reach another level soon after this long break so I cant see it affecting transfer fees.

It seems to me ,that Man U will be stuck with Pogba, and his charming sidekick agent , for a while yet !

If lots of clubs around Europe are taking a huge financial hit, which is possible, then we’ll likely see a reduction in transfer fees. Doubt we’ll be looking at fees halving.

Probably, unfortunately it just means the big dogs will just clean out the smaller teams.
