Key worker..?

The Government has announced that schools will close except for the children of “key workers". But who is a key worker?

The Department of Education has published a full list of roles that the Government considers to be “key".

The list includes:

All NHS staff, including administrative and cleaning workers
Police officers
Prison officers
Firefighters
Teachers, including teaching assistants
Journalists providing public service broadcasting
Local and national government workers in admin roles “essential to the effective delivery" of virus response
Food chain workers, including those involved in production, processing, distribution, sale and delivery
People in offices on football forums all day long
Those caring for the elderly and vulnerable, including care home workers
Armed forces
Workers in critical infrastructure like gas, water, electricity and nuclear energy
XHamster System Admins
Transport workers in “air, water, road and rail passenger and freight"
Postal workers

I know most on JA606 don't have real jobs so this won't affect us.

FFS....I'm on that list. Slightly surprised.

Need to find out what it means for schools. Daughter was supposed to be sitting highers.

Just had an email confirming we’re on that list too. Bit of a nightmare having to go into various different households each day.

AS i said previously we have a great sick scheme , but I can see it being suspended if there's mass sickness and next to no revenue
