DEAL OR NO DEAL

In the current crisis, one wonders how this will affect the whole Brexit situation

Before the Coronavirus became news, it was about all Brexit. The Government were absolutely adamant there would be no extension beyond December 31st 2020 for any further delay or negotiation on some kind of deal

What happens now, will we still leave on 31st December 2020 irrespective of whether a deal has been struck or not, or has this virus changed the goalposts?

I think we’ll just slither out with no deal. And we’ll probably not see the true effect as it will be masked by all this.

==========

Agreed. We will all likelihood never know the true impact of brexit as the effects of this will last probably for a decade
