Mail reporting that all the top 10 bar City (obvious reasons) have written to the Court of Arbitration for sport as part of a joint appeal to ask City’s ban be upheld.
The feeling is that enough is enough,’ said the source. ‘For too long, City have been able to get away with breaching the rules at the expense of at least one other club that has been unable to get into the Champions League.
‘The fear is that they will be able to delay any punishment and — should they win the appeal — get off scot-free, which would be outrageous.’
Obviously these are desperate times for us all but it’s great to see all the well respected big clubs in the league using this time to demonstrate a power of unity in order to clamp down on the cheats in the game, so credit to all involved

I'm very much against City's financial doping, but it would be ridiculous for their ban to be upheld in the current situation.

Don’t know why a City fan would be bothered about the Heysel ban since they spent half the time in the second division and had a best finish of 14th in the first. This was back in the days when they were a tinpot little club not plastic lottery winners
