I’d say worse case will be October, would be very surprised if it wasn’t before then. Things tend to change very quickly once that light at the end of the tunnel is seen.

Even if it is October, what are you going on about with nothing for the rest of the year? October isn’t the last month of the year, never has been.

You can’t bring up the possibility of the season being cancelled, whether you want it to or not, without Liverpool fans having a meltdown at the very thought of it.

Not really a meltdown, just pointing out that the authorities have already started they want the season to finish. There are plenty on here who think they know better, or rather are desperate for the season to be scratched. It’s funny how you focus on the Liverpool fans being apparently one sided in this, and not the large numbers of opposition fans

Because he is just as biased as the rest of them. He just hides it better.

If another team was leading the league, United fans would be baying for the season to be completed because they will likely be in the CL. The problem is Liverpool will be Champions if completed and missing out in the CL for a season suddenly doesn't sound so bad.

Luckily the top brass at Old Trafford will be loathe to spend yet another season without Champions League football. Apart from the pandemic related losses, they will also have a significant chunk of sponsorship money going down the drain without CL football.

I hope that the games are played behind closed doors and we finish the season. I don't think that is going to happen though. All it takes is a player from one team to get the virus then their scheduled is delayed further as is the season. And that can impact on the league above/below in terms of who is going up/coming down. I think the leagues will be declared null and void. I suspect that the decision at non league level is just priming us for this outcome.
