PFA

Is it time for players to oust Gordon Taylor. He’s completely out of touch with reality, making players look as if they don’t care & is probably leading football to a place it’s going to find hard to recover from. The last union leader to act like this was Scargil & look what it did for him & the miners.

Didn't he announce he was leaving a year ago ???

Gordon Taylor has done exactly the right thing.

The PFA exists to protect Players, and it does exactly that.

This row encapsulates everything wrong with society today;

Billionaire Owners want Millionaire Players to take a pay cut.
The workers meanwhile, just get one.

The PFA's focus should be on the lower leagues. The players in the higher leagues focus should be on what are the needs of their own individual clubs and how much they can help, not hiding behind the mantra of the PFA.

But the players should be fighting back and demanding that rich club owners also match what their contributions are going to be.

Just read another article suggesting that only club owners will benefit from a player wage cut.
