Anyone having a flutter?

Its a simulation!

its not the grand national.

You can program the outcome you want including what horses virtually die at the virtual beachers.

If for a bit of fun but they really ought to set a small fixed prize and make it a raffle with proceeds going to charity.

But If someone wants to put 5000 on a virtual pony with a chance to win money and take it out of the hands of the nhs fire away

Surely this is totally open to rigging?

In fact I can't see any way it can actually be fair.

Precisely why I've never even opened the virtual sports page.

Ofcourse, but its for NHS charity so its for a good cause so nobody can lose

I believe it’s a maximum £10 win bet or £10 EW.

Maybe I'm just being cynical but I have a feeling the charity Grand National is a way of building trust and good will for virtual races.

Then when the next big race comes along they will do it for profit, and surprise surprise the horses with the most money staked on them will fall.

no no thats far too cynical. It'll conform to legislation perfectly.

That means the bookie always wins.

For me being serious for just a moment. This is no substitute for the "game of skill" that is being a horse racing punter.

Studying the form, looking at the horse, reading whatever insider info and so forth and knowing from history, conditions etc which odds are longer than they should be and spotting the bet. Its just pure slot machine level gambling.

How are they determining the winner? Is it as simple at a 1 in 10 odds horse has a 1 in 10 chance of winning and a 1 in 40 odds horse has a 1 in 40 chance of winning, and so on?
