grey haired rambling of a virus dodging old

Hi all
Soooo
Let's see went a week without some major drugs as the chemist couldn't cope
So my legs are swollen up and the chest infection is back hopefully it's not the phenomena again
Really struggling to get things done due to resting either for the legs or lungs

On up side
The local Hub (cafe ) with time bank volunteers and parish council
Have sorted out prescription runs and food shopping for old people and anyone on the gov. List,

Had a phone call from gov last Thursday and 8am Monday morning a food parcel was on my door step
Way better than what you'd get from a good bank
Well thought out 6 days meals Inc bread milk
Fruit

Tescos contacted me about online shopping after being notified by the gov.
I've a delivery arriving Wed 9-5 2-10

Same restrictions as everybody else you just don't get a time slot until there loading the van

So now I'm trying to sit with the legs up and in the afternoon
Hoover
Cook
Nither of which I really feel like doing
Hopefully the drugs kick in and ill be OK by Wednesday

Not seeing many people using the park and nobody passes the garden so can't recall when I last had a conversation other than the boys
On Skype
Lil Irish fox is hoping the prediction league will be scraped 🤣😂

So still breathing
Just about standing

Just heard about Boris
That's mixed feelings
His party stripped this country for 10 yrs
Including NHS and still they faff about not making decisions
But how come he get icu just incase because if it was me
They wouldn't even attempt to save me 🤔

Sun is here for a few days so sitting in the garden
Hopefully somebody goes bye without earphones 🤷‍♂️

thanks all

but you know what more than anything ..
i really want the deaths of all those who are gone, all those who are going to die

to actually count for something and not just be a anniversary pop up on facebook

now is the time for change
ecologically
politically
socially

Any health care worker in any country that loses their life to the virus should receive their relevant countries highest accolade for bravery when this is over imo.

I sympathise totally with you Dubs, the current situation makes a lot of us angry, sometimes for different reasons, sometimes warranted and other times not.

Keep safe Dubs, lets hope it's a Footballer disappointing us we're talking about soon, after he helped us to a Champions league spot

There are so many cliches out there atm, it's absolutely fantastic that Government asked for 250,000 volunteers and 750,000 volunteered, it really shows there is still a Community left in this Country despite the selfish, ignorant and idiotic traits we see every day.

What makes me angry though is that it takes a Pandemic like this for people to show it, everyone for years has moaned groaned and blamed everyone else instead of getting off their Rs to help in very difficult times.

You know what as well, I 100% think we'll all be back to normal in no time at all after this is all over, that makes me angry to know.

Sorry for having a different viewpoint to you BS 👍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not that at all and you know it. You’re entitled to a different opinion. I just happen to think what you chose to put, given the serious condition of the PM right now, was pretty crass and insensitive to be honest and there was absolutely no need, as highlighted by other posters, to make a party political broadcast on behalf of Labour.

I understand that viewpoint entirely BS even if I don’t agree with it. I know the majority of people will be with you on this one and that’s fine. Just not me - I’ll take the hate for that.

Let me be clear, as in my original post, I wish no ill on any human and I wish Johnson a speedy recovery. As much as I don’t respect the man, stable leadership is absolutely what this country needs right now and his well-being is critical to that.

'ey up Dubs. Glad to see you're still carrying on carrying on. Sorry to hear that you're struggling to source stuff but hopefully that'll improve as everyone gets into the swing of all the changes that have happened.

I doubt we're likely to agree politically, so feel free to have a rant at me instead. After all, I voted for him.

I blame you for most things Dunge.

I’ve always suspected that Knockaert penalty miss all down to you and your political voting record. Now I’m 100% convinced.

As a good friend of mine once said:

“Goooood, goooood...
Let the hate flow through you...”

I’m pretty sure he made a donation to the Tories at some point too.
