My first World Cup (i was alive in 82 but can't remember any of it).
Some of my memories from it include the Brazil v France game that went to penalties (one of France's hit the post came out hit the keeper and went in).
Belgium were a great team to watch.
Oh, and some fat lad called Madonna or something was half decent.

Same here. That France v Brazil match was some game. Remember that pen cauisng controversy at the time.

For some reason a goal USSR scored against France springs to mind with Rats scoring past Bats!

Belgium v Russia was a game, but because of the time it was on I remember not being able to see it live.
