Getting back to football after the

doom and gloom of the last few days, regarding the last few days bad publicity surrounding the club.

Looking forward the future looks pretty bright, if Spurs hang on to most of these players over the next few years.

Lo Celso 24
Dele 23
Sanchez 23
Ndombele 23
Bergwijn 22
Foyth 22
Fernandes 21
Tanganga 21
Sessignon 19
Skipp 19
Parrott 18
Cirkin 18

Some of our oldies may be departing over the next year or two, but lots of younger players around to make it a really exciting time to be a Spurs supporter over the next few years. Even I did not realise how young some of them were.

"In the first half we didn't have a midfield," said Mourinho.

"Of course I'm not speaking of Skipp because he's a kid of 19 who's played two hours in the last few days. I don't criticise him at all.

"But I'm not going to run away and I have to say he [Ndombele] has had enough time to come to a different level.

"I know the Premier League is difficult, and some players take a long time to adapt to a different league.

"But a player with his potential has to give us more than he is giving us, especially when you see how Lucas, Lo Celso and those players are playing. I was expecting more in the first half from him."

Many fantastic players in their first season, in a new country, for different reasons they struggle," the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss added. "There have been many examples of that.

"He's a player with great talent. He has to know he has to do much better and know I cannot keep giving him opportunities to play because the team is much more important."

From the BBC. Hardly castration LOL. It's an honest assessment. The fact that Jose and the player were working in the park the other shows there is a willingness to improve. Far too early to write him off....

Great, so Spurs will resume just in time to ruin my summer

Yep, anyone wishing for the season ending are going to be left disappointed. Us Spurs fans are going to have to endure Spurs s***ness for 2 months unfortunately.

Nah all the main men back, 9 straight wins Don.

He's been excellent at times. He's clearly not fit. I suspect that if Mourinho had taken the Pochettino approach and said "He's not yet fit, we'll integrate him slowly" then you wouldn't have turned against him like you have. He's hardly the first player in history to struggle to adapt in his first season.

Yes, he's clearly not fit and he's not where any of us wants him to be yet, but you can't possibly think Mourinho's public castigation is going to make him more likely to be a success at Spurs. Mourinho has previous for this sort of nonsense and I can't think of a single time it's produced a positive result. More likely he's just getting his excuses in early so he can say to Levy "Look at the dud Pochettino left me with, I need £100m more to fix the mess."
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry mate, but he had been at the club for nearly eight months before football was stopped, so there can be no excuse on fitness. It shouldn`t take any player that long to get there fitness levels up.

Foyth needs a loan. total liability and cannot be trusted to be anywhere near the team.

he has ability though, that's why i say give him a loan. but he is a huge error per game player, many of which get punished.

Jose told the truth and was not offensive to the player at all. Good spin though. You get a clap.

No spin. Ndombele has been s**, end of story

Don, you wanted our best manager for 30 years sacked 4 months after he took us to a CL final on a shoe string budget. Our team at this time had run its course and needed a rebuild, but you thought Poch had not earned the right to over see it, you were wrong.

You also championed Mourinho coming into Spurs, a proven winner who will give us a winning mentality you said, well we have gone sideways at best and are playing some of the worst football we`ve seen at WHL in years, Mourinho is a bad fit for Spurs and you will be wrong again here.

You also keep banging the Pool deserve the title drum, whilst being completely oblivious to all the extra points they are gifted year on year by referees and now VAR, you are wrong again here.... they deserve fack all.

You should go and support Liverpool instead of Spurs, because you certainly behave like your average Bin Dipper.

I’m just not bitter like you mate. You’re agenda for ending the season by pretending you are bothered about the livelihoods of people due to the coronavirus is a load of bulls** because it’s pretty clear and obvious the only reason you want it to end is because you hate Liverpool and don’t want them winning it. You are even going as far as saying the season is tainted and not legitimate what a crock of s***. How can you say I’m wrong about Mourinho when he’s been here 10 minutes. If by next season we are playing poorly, then come at me with me being wrong. Poch deserved the boot, we were horrendous for ages.
