I think what LeBeouf is saying is that Coutinho is a good player - but we will have to pay world class player rates for him. So it’s not just about how good he is - but who we COULD have purchased instead of Coutinho - the opportunity cost. If we pay that much money, we should aim for a truly world class player.

Anyway good article, I wouldn’t want him, high wages and high maintenance plus when was his last good season? Flopped at Barca. And we have exciting young players for free with more upside.

How would you know? We haven’t seen him play consistently in 2 years.
Also we haven’t had a problem tearing teams apart this year just been agonsingly wasteful in front of goal. Kovacic isn’t too far from what countinho added in his prime bar goals. We are fine with what we have and isn’t worth upsetting the apple cart imo. You may be right he’d be our best attacker, but with cho, Mount and pulisic the future is bright.

Doubt it. He can’t stay fit enough. We haven’t seen Coutinho in 2 years and our strikers are wasteful. Tbh what you’re saying is strictly conjecture, I like Coutinho but so many unknowns with him currently
