I don't really consider myself to be particularly erudite or informed.

I never really look at the EPL boards, coincidentally though i did see the thread on Souness and FWIW, erudite and informed is exactly what I would consider your post on him was

Really, if you're putting up stuff about how you won't even speak to a Catholic, you deserve mockery. I don't give them the excuse that all of them are intellectually subnormal.

-------------------------------

Well there's no arguing against that.

I did wonder where your reply was going after reading the first sentence.

How is lockdown going?

Ach alright mate. We have a house and a bit of garden. We can't really complain when there's people in high-rise flats just now more-or-less trapped.

Keeping the kids either entertained or non-feral is proving pretty tiring though.

And then there's the almost-surreal background of the crisis going on.

TLDR; not bad. Drinking too much.

How're you getting on?

I'm still working - a 'key' worker but not NHS

My company has split the organisation in to two teams - one week at work and one week working at home.

Different working at home - can be a little distracting with domestic stakeholders in the vicinity

I'm fast becoming competent in Skype - I can see that more and more companies will further increase their use remote working after this all calms down.

Oh and I asked (at a distance) the neighbour the other day if they had the phone number for a good boarding school

Before the lock down was formally announced - I asked HR if it was ok if I could still work from work

Aye, I'm back to "work" on Monday.

It's a nightmare trying to do it at home. You're either neglecting the kids, or not doing your work.

Three more weeks until the next extension though, so it's not all bad news.

I'll take that as a compliment as it's not the worst comment I've had on here today.

Actually...I was just stating what I think is obvious. Thought he was a brilliant player in a very good Liverpool team. Wouldn't have put any midfielder in the world in ahead of him at his best.

As for Pogba or any other current epl midfielder.....not one of them gets close.
