It's bitterness at what went before. A feeling that the rules only get applied to Rangers. As I said it's playing to an audience but it's an audience that increasingly feels that when the shoe is on the other foot it will kick rangers. The board and statements are ramping up on this growing feeling.

Thing is Miller, by making the statements that they have, if they’re not going to follow them up with the actions they first promised (they wouldn’t be found wanting), then no amount of sabre rattling is going to make a difference. Reading comments tonight, they’re not ramping up the feelings that they used to.

I personally don't think celtic have done anything wrong. I'm just pointing out that previously sporting integrity was of paramount importance to Scottish football and now as we call time on lower leagues and very likely the top tier it's a secondary concern to dishing out honours.

I would say that the interest of sporting integrity are best served by deciding outcomes as much as possible by what has happened on the field of play.

As opposed to ignoring what has happened over hundreds of matches

That would include Celtic being crowned champions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It all reverts to the age old saying of 'You can only p¡ss with caulk you've got'

If we can only play 30 games in 2019/20, then that's all we can play. It's not perfect by any means but it's over 75% of a regular league.

Common sense has to prevail at some point instead of petty rivalries causing more headaches for Scottish football.

There's only one club crying foul here.

It's clear why they're doing it.. they committed to a position on (or pre)Friday and have doubled down. There's definitely an element of riling up the troops in an us v them situation to deflect from the club's shortcomings of late.

It's worked for Trump, Farage etc with their fanatics.. but it has an expiration date with the wider populace/fan base. It'll turn sour and ugly soon enough.
