Partick Thistle relegated, even

though they mathematically could have stayed up.

Partick Thistle have been relegated from the Championship after Dundee's change to a 'yes' vote passed the plans.

The Glasgow club were two points adrift at the bottom, but had a game in hand over Queen of the South in ninth.

Apparently they have not the money to appeal this shocking decision. This decision is going down a very slippery slope of basically awarding title and relegating sides on a vote.

This surely must never ever be allowed to happen in the English game.

I'm all for community spirit. But bottom line is if clubs cannot afford to run themselves, then what is the point?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I know.

Stupid clubs not planning for a worldwide pandemic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Cannot blame the pandemic on Scottish football finance, most lower league Scottish clubs barely get a couple of hundred through the turnstiles most weekends. This is what happens when you allow two teams to dominate for over 100 years. No competition, means very little interest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As ever completely missing the point.

Started off with an inane thread

Challenged

Responded with utter guttershite and a distinct lack of knowledge.

Corrected

Changed tack and moved to the we’ve got more money argument

Challenged again

Missed the point completely

You’ve done well

Gingernuts getting owned, so tries to deflect him being on his own on this one.

This from a poster that uses phrases like this:

Not only spouting out with a thread which you’ve got completely wrong you’ve now turned back into a boring tw@t again.

Responded with utter guttershite and a distinct lack of knowledge.

Completely bereft of normal debating skills, so resorts to insults.

No insults there sandy.

Just simple facts as to how your thread has spun out

It’s pretty clear it was all about trying to get some support that Liverpool shouldn’t be given the title so you used a completely silly example of what the lower Scottish leagues have done to help clubs get some much needed prize money and try and plan for next season.

Not only doing that you got the basic principles wrong and then tried to defend them with the usual boring pattern of “we’ve got more money than you” and suggesting they should just go bust because they haven’t got the background finances to withstand a global pandemic that has wiped out their match day income.

You could have done the sensible thing and held you hands up and just said you didn’t know what was happening north of the border and it would be perfectly understandable.

Instead you kept digging a massive hole you now can’t get out of and have to depend on wee dafties to give it the boring old mantra of Scottish football. They’re kids so I expect no less. ‘

You on the other hand.....

Anyway I’ll leave you to it. Here’s to hopefully your league and our top division getting to play out the remainder of the season that day by day looks even less likely.

And if they can’t, then I don’t think many will argue that Liverpool should win your top league but maybe you can afford to compensate clubs for not being relegated/promoted.

We can’t.

Stay safe

You are the only one out of kilt on the article. The only one defending a team getting relegated by a vote. Don`t try to shift blame for your ridiculous Scottish football doing the completely wrong thing.

I know as much as you do is what is happening North of the Border, a club has been relegated by a vote. That`s all we all need to know.

That`s my last word on the subject.

Stay Safe yourself.

With over 800 still dying daily, not a cat in hell`s chance of any football being played in June. That is purely wishful and nonsensical thinking on the Football Authorities part.
