Poch To Newcastle

Lots of reports saying he will be the new manager once the takeover is complete.

If so best of luck poch , can see this really coming back to bite us in the backside.

I know he complained he didn’t have time with the players to get to know each of them individually etc. Well now he has had all the time in the world.. let’s see how he gets on. I won’t be holding my breathe.

If working for one of the most corrupt murderous controlling regimes on earth doesn't bother him then that will say all we need to know

but.. he doesn't work for levy / enic anymore...…

sorry, couldn't resist, you'd set it up to well...….

Can you imagine if he makes the success at Newcastle... Spurs fans will be in turmoil
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We have Jose, Sheriff

Things are already in turmoil thanks

With Kane and Son fit and plenty of time training the players during lockdown our serial winner will be bringing home trophies like there's no tomorrow when football resumes.

Ooh...ello roll me a big fat optimistic one...

Think he was being sarcastic Sheriff

Think this newcastle one will be interesting. It appears they are going to throw substantial money at this but the problem newcastle have always had is attracting players that far north. I always remember bobby robson saying that was a huge stumbling block signing players.

They might be able to offer mega wages but I still think a lot of players wont fancy it that far north. No amount of money changes that.

I love it sheriff hates spurs so much

If poch goes to Newcastle and is given backing I expect them to do well in 12/18 months

He should get an amazing reception the first time he comes back to the lane

Reckon Poch would want to be convinced the setup is right and the owners have the right attitude going forwards. It's not a short term project; it could take Newcastle 4 or 5 years to seriously start challenging at the top.

They should back Bruce with the money.

It would be interesting to see what Poch could achieve when being backed properly, he never had that at Spurs so we never found out.

He got a fair bit of backing Billy.

A "fair bit of backing" ???
Like the buy nothing season?

It would be interesting to have seen what would have become of city and Chelsea with out the owners they have , my guess in championship at best.
