It’s On : PL to return “within weeks”

I'm starting to think that football won't go ahead until 21/22 season.

You essentially need to provide your workers with a safe working environment. When we all go back to our jobs we will be expected to socially distance and there will be measures in factories, construction sites and offices alike to make this happen.

On a football pitch you cannot do that. 1 case could easily turn into 22+ cased within 90 mins. This illness could cause death or long term / permanent damage that could be career ending for a player. Who picks up the tab there?

If you remember the legal battle and ramifications coming from Sala dying on his way to Cardiff, can you imagine the S show this would cause!?

Think about where they will live. A hotel? How many there?
Travel? Planes, Trains & Automobiles, how many there?
Overnight stays for longer distance away games? Another hotel?
Then..

The German plan suggests a minimum of 240 people required to play behind closed doors.

Then there are fans gathering outside stadiums, in homes to share streaming costs...

It is a total non-starter

You can't guarantee that.

I agree it will be tried, but it will fall apart in no time, and the Associations/Federations know this, they are just trying to preserve TV money.
