What do you expect next season ?

Let’s just put this pandemic to the back of our minds for one second and let’s chat footy. What do you expect next season? I feel like a parrot consistently saying the same thing every summer and every season I’m left disappointed. Spurs have to win a trophy next season and I mean it’s imperative we win something now. Harry Kane wants trophies as does the whole club, so it’s time to bloody step up now and show a winning mentality for once.

We have been starved of success for far to long us Spurs fans. The club of our size and the structure it’s recently built ( I.E stadium , training complex etc ) we should be doing a lot better in the trophy scale. Yes, obviously top 4 and consistent CL qualification is also a must, but we have to start winning silver wear.

For me it’s top 4 , a trophy ( Fa cup or league cup) or even both and a decent CL or Europa run is what is needed next season. Players want success and just getting top 4 every season isn’t success. It’s time the club step up and give the fans what we deserve. We pay the highest prices in the country and have had to endure so much s** as Spurs fans down the years. I have said this before, winning breeds success. Once the players get the feel of a trophy, even if it’s a league cup at the start, the club will move in the right direction. What say you ?

It's all very well saying "if Spurs can get over these long injury lists", but that isn't going to happen. It's the players that are injury prone. They won't suddenly stop having weak ankles/groins/whatever. Underlying issues don't just go away, they need to be managed.

Kane, if used as he has been, will miss several months a season through injury. Hoping for an injury free season from him, at this point, is unrealistic. Similarly other injury prone players.

The only way Spurs "solve" their poor injury record is buying good enough rotation options and giving players like Kane proper rest.

Kane will have probably had a very long rest now, before football returns. But that will not guarantee anything going forward. He is still liable to get injured again next season.

Did anyone watch the football show this morning? Eze from QPR was on. Came across as a good lad, had a lot of knockbacks in his career and looks a player. A few folk on SC were saying we are interested plus with there seems to be a healthy relationship between the two clubs with us loaning them Clarke and Amos.

Not a player or even position which would be classed as a priority but one to keep an eye on.

Sorry mate, but Vardy/ Kane equal?not a chance. Vardy is an excellent prem striker, but Kane is one of the best strikers in europe, if not the best. Kane> Vardy any day of the week, not even a debate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I think when you take into account injury records etc, Vardy should equal Kane in terms of what he gives to the team, general play, goals etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good point but Kane's injury record for me actually tips the balance in favour to Vardy. He is much much quicker than Kane as well.

Kane or Vardy is splitting hairs.

Kane is most definitely overplayed, however as a Spurs fan you know your club far better than me and is some of it possibly an insistence by him to play every game?

Most clubs have more than 1 first team squad striker on there books

Poch to be Newcastle manager and them overtake us.

Ndombele to go elsewhere and be immense or stay and rot unhappily.

Jose not lasting the season.

Yet another trophy less spurs season.

hasnt top 4 and a trophy been the goal since we moved from WHL and Levy didnt spend any money, maybe if he did that summer we may have achieved both in a season.

under Jose now and the squad is a mess, dream on Don
