Voiding the Premier League

With Liverpool being so far ahead and only needing 6 points from their last 9 games to clinch the title it would be a travesty if the season was voided.
A real injustice.
A crying shame.
So, so sad that they would still have not won the Premiership in 27? years.
I'm sure everybody would feel sorry for them because no matter who else you support you probably have a soft spot in your heart for Liverpool.
So sad.
I'm going for a good cry now.

I think most are happy to accept Liverpool being awarded their title in the scinario the season is voided.

and by the same token do most people accept that Norwich Villa and Bournemouth should be awarded relegation

And that Leeds West Brom and Fulham should be awarded promotion

etc. etc.

It's not all just about Liverpool. If the season is voided then nobody gets a mulligan and that includes Liverpool.

We all start all over again as we were last August whenever football starts again.

PSG awarded the title with a smaller lead, same probably happen here if football can't resume.

Ah the Daily Mail.

Dismissed as the Daily Fail by those whose agendas it does not support, but accepted as gospel truth by the same people when it favours them

Fact is, most would be viewed as flawed where the league uphold the leading teams position in granting them the league and then do not apply the same approach to relegation.

If you abandoned a match 70 minutes in, you would not award the winning team 3 points, even if they were 5-0 up. If you did you would not award them the 3 pts, but also deem it unfair to say the other team had lost and award them 1 point. Its either abandoned with no result, or there is a winner and a loser.

Many years ago at a place I was working the two computers were named Anthrax and Ebola as a cunning plan that it would frighten off any other viruses.
