Giggs vs Hazard

Giggs has had a better career and for what I can see seems like a better pro too. Hazard at his best however, is a better player. Problem is Hazard dosent seen to have the drive of giggs.

I also feel what Giggs did to his brother has subconsciously altered people’s views on him as a footballer

If this is true, I'd really be amazed to see how highly people would view Giggs otherwise. Because everyone has given him a lot of praise here.

Yup. I don’t think it matters when judging him as a player, sure as a person he’s a dead eyed looking sociopath, but we aren’t marking him on that, we are marking him on the superb ability he had and his sterling career, against a player who talent wise was even better by a fair bit too, , but just dosent seen to have the same will to keep it up, like Giggs..

So overall Giggs wins. But at their very best, who’s better, then it’s quite easily hazard..

Giggs' stats are worse than Hazard's though. Looking at invidual seasons. He only hit double figures in the league twice in 20+ seasons. Hazard did it 5 times in 7 seasons.

Giggs has a better assist rate and as for goals scored - it’s not really as simple as that. He was part of many sides who spread the goals out around the team.

It’s not that deep man. Just you’re making an all time PL XI with Gerrard and Henry and Shearer and shiiit, do you play Giggs or Hazard in the left?

Who they played with & what role they played because of it would dramatically affect their performances. Tell Hazard to hug the line like Giggs used to & he'd be a non factor, tell Giggs to cut inside from either wing and his one footedness becomes a problem.

If you wanna Yaya Toure fantasy team this sh!!!t play both & stick them at LB

Giggs was also in a better team than hazard, a key part. Hazard however elevated chelsea. Without him chelsea weren’t that good.

Tbf it' not as simple as what the assist rate tells us. Giggs played with far better goal scorers than Hazard.

I'm fairly certain Hazard led the chances created stat for most seasons he was in the PL.

"Hazard’s total of 595 chances created is the most of any Premier League player since the start of the 2012-13 campaign, ahead of notable playmakers such as David Silva, Mesut Ozil and Christian Eriksen"

So Hazard it is then .
