The End. The Doors

Did you ever really listen to that...or any fooked up tune ?

Apocolapse Now, 3 bottles Of red and mum in laws 80th birthday about 15 years ago, but the Doors for me are childhood school leaving years,,with drink n drugs and messed up emotions

Wife is fooked up, as mum on the way out and daughter came into bed crying last night saying she is scared, of "everything".

Never mind Bojo or Leo or Nicola or the Welsh lad..

We have fooked up big time across the world and let kids and parents down....and grandparents.

When I hit 70 am hitting heroin, vigira, E and Guinness hard.

Stay home...don't be a fooking Lert.

Best 10 songs for me...

The End
Waiting for the Sun
Spanish Caravan
Roadhouse Blues
Strange Days
Yes, the River Knows
Not to Touch the Earth
I Can’t See Your Face in My Mind
Moonlight Drive
LA Woman

----------------------------------------------------------------------
All good songs. 'Yes, the river knows' is an underrated one.

I also think the Soft Parade is a great album. I know it got slated back in the day. Morrison Hotel as a whole for me is the poorest

Ah the doors (along with floyd and Ledzep) ... the soundtrack to my mis-spent youth (well mis-spent according to my mother, god rest her soul ) I started listening to punk and old 50s stuff then moved into a flat and discovered a whole world of music i had never heard!

I could list 100 tracks that havent been mentioned, 5 to 1, soul kitchen and the buddies favourite.. Love Street.. a place where the creatures meet! come to mind

The End, 5to1, Horse Latitudes,
There was an lp of Morrison's poetry released in the 80s American Prayer.
Very dark.

Would love Jim's poetry....big fan of Sylvia Plath after A level readings.

Doors send me back to hippy biker mates in eighties, getting stoned together and summer sun.

Now, all of us are around the world and rarely meet up, but great memories.
