Restrictions will be lifted with time though. They'll have full training some time before games start, or at least that's the plan. When players are just coming back and haven't been tested regularly or observed continuously, the risk is greater.

I believe when things settle into a routine and everyone has had a number of negative tests and is seen to be aware and following the protocols, restrictions will be lifted gradually.

I only speak for myself, but football starting in a couple of weeks doesn't seem right when we still have c600 a day people dying.

You can't really use that argument though to an extent because we will have so many people a day dying from different flu viruses, so its like saying you can't have football because of that.

Its not meant in a harsh manner of course because any loss of life is obviously tragic, but we can't stop everything forever.

No it's not the Same as flu or any other deaths in as much as it's very virulent but avoidable
..
I know there are deaths every day, but most of the others are the result of getting old, this is the result of being near the wrong person.

This is the solution I have been touting on this board for a month or more.
Only sensible option.
Pool were so far ahead it was moot.
True Man City are probably a better team, but points are what count.
And finalizing things now saves Spurs the embarrassment of finding out where they would have ended up!

So what do you use to explain swine flu? Very similar characteristics within the disease, just affects different people, but similar symptoms.

I don't explain it because I don't know anything about it. But at the moment it's not that that is killing 600 people a day in the UK.
