Saudi government implicated in 9/11 attacks

Do people not understand that an "official" is not the whole way to the top.

The point of cut outs and what happened with watergate is that nixon couldn't deny what he was up to.

Whats happened this year i the USA was trump couldn't deny what he was up to and a bare face political vote took the place of a trial for him and this is the absolutely low point of US politics.

An official offering support is not the same as the saudi royal family offering support.

same way that they can't "prove" the crown prince had that journalist killed and chopped up

as I said in the OP a country like saudi nothing goes down without the thumbs up from the powers that be.

They didn’t. They weren’t supposed to release, to the general public, the name of the SA diplomat.

Now then, that begs the question, doesn’t it. Did they release his name by mistake or was it on purpose?
15 of the 19 terrorists were from Saudi.
