PL football is coming back!

Of course it would be hilarious if Liverpool somehow lost their title but either way I’m sure they’ll get it. I’m more excited about seeing United play this season than some fleeting joy from some schadenfreude at Liverpool’s expense.

The clubs of the PL have voted in favour of resuming training this week. Hurry up PL football, it’s been super boring without you. 🖤

Without fans and atmosphere for me there isn’t football. It’s extremely dull. You couldn’t have a cup final like that surly.

Please learn to spell surely. Surly is a different word, which is what I am seeing an educated person keep getting it wrong.

rosso, yeah but I think all of that will benefit the teams with the better players/stronger squads.

Teams that rely on their team ethic are going to suffer more, in my opinion. Especially the ones with small squads.

Call me miserable, but I just can’t get excited about this. I love going to the pub to watch football, and that’s out, and I love the sense of the big occasion, which is hard to imagine under these circumstances. I know it sort of has to happen, and it will be great to see United again, but it’s going to feel strange, to put it mildly.

What if you were at a pub watching the game with the sound down?

Well, that would be annoying at the best of times. Plus I'd be able to see the empty seats. Plus the pub most likely wouldn't be open anyway.

I absolutely hate watching football in the pub if the sound isn’t on!

I'm not a fan of watching footy with no sound, but it's mainly the lack of commentary that bothers me in that case.

I mean pre lock down. So you liked going to watch football at the pub... was that due to the atmosphere at the pub though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Partly that. Just the freedom and relaxation, really.

Its been hard to think of football during this time but concentrating solely on that, the break came at a terrible time for chelsea (obviously nothing in big scheme of things), we were getting a roll going and finally getting some injured players back. Will be interesting to see how we push on now.
